What is MIPS?

MIPS is an acronym for Multi-Directional Protection System. This design
reduces rotational motion that occurs from impact. Allowing your head to
slightly move inside the helmet allows the protective barrier to absorb more of
the impact, limiting the short-term and long-term damage inflicted on your
brain and skull.

You can tell if a helmet has MIPS by checking for a yellow sticker or print,
usually inside the helmet.

MTB Helmets
