The SCORPION is an excellent choice for carrying 2 bikes, especially larger, heavier, or electric models. It’s a highly versatile rack that can accommodate a wide range of bikes, whether you have them now or in the future.

E-bike carriers are often bulky and difficult to handle, but the SCORPION is easy to use despite its solid build. Weighing 17.7kg, it folds up for easy storage and is simple to fit onto your car. The carrier supports itself, so it won’t fall when you let go. Just tighten, lock, and unfold—everything clicks into place, including the number plate holder.

The tilting function is particularly user-friendly, with the control positioned just above the number plate. The lighting system features 5 functions, including a reversing light and a fog light (when using a 13-pin socket).

Other Features and Specifications

Strong Tow Ball Attachment: The "Buzz Conic System" has been in use since 2007 and securely attaches the carrier to a 50mm steel tow ball. This system passes all European certifications, including the new ISO 11154.

Designed for E-Bikes and Heavy Bikes: The bike distance is large enough to prevent interference between wide motors, hubs, pedals, or forks. The Scorpion 2 offers 30cm between bikes, while the Scorpion 3 has 22cm between the first and second bike, and 19cm between the second and third bike.

Folding for Easy Storage: Fold the wheel support tubes by pulling the release button, then rotate the vertical clamp frame 90 degrees and slide it down for compact storage.

Tilting for Tailgate Access: Gently tilt the platform by pulling the lever behind the number plate support or by pushing the bottom of the plate. The well-balanced mechanism allows you to tilt the rack, even with a full load, without supporting the full weight of the bikes.

Strong Bike Attachment: Each bike is secured with a locking clamp and soft rubber pad to protect the frame. The clamp fits tubes with diameters ranging from 25mm to 60mm. In the 3-bike version, the 3rd clamp can be removed and repositioned for easier bike loading.

High Sliding Frame for All Bikes: The adjustable frame slides vertically and is wide enough for the clamp to securely catch the bike frame. It accommodates step-through bikes by attaching to the seat tube. The PRO version makes this even easier.

Large Wheel Support for Tires Up to 4” Wide: The wheel supports are designed to hold tires of all sizes and feature a hook for attaching a ramp or anti-sway device (available as accessories).

Strong Ratchet Straps and Protective Pads: The ratchet straps are easy to tighten and won’t jam from dirt. Protective rubber pads prevent scratches on aluminum or carbon rims.

Locking Mechanism: The frame clamps and tow ball attachment system can be locked with the same key.

Lighting System: The SCORPION comes with 5-function lights and a 13-pin plug. Electrical adapters for 7-pin systems are available.

License Plate Support: A removable license plate holder is included, and it’s available as a spare part for those with multiple vehicles and license plates.

Rack Structure: The carrier is made entirely of steel, designed to meet the latest international standards (ISO 11154). It’s coated for corrosion resistance and UV protection.

Protective Cover: A cover protects the mechanical parts from dirt and water, and includes a 13-pin plug receiver for easy storage.

Safety Strap: Each product comes with an additional safety strap for added security.

Wheel Holder Compatibility: The wheel holders accommodate larger wheelbases up to 129.5cm.

Load Limits: The maximum load is also determined by the tow bar’s nose weight. Ensure you don’t exceed the tow ball’s limit before use. The carrier requires 65mm clearance from the center of the tow ball to the rear of the vehicle.
