Stromlo? Majura? Thredbo? Maybe a trip to Derby? The Trance 29 has what you need to shred hard and shred fast. It's built on an all-new full-composite frame with adjustable geometry, giving you smooth control to blitz technical trails at speed.
Adjustable frame geometry
New flip chip feature lets you change the head tube and seat tube angles, as well as the bottom bracket height, to fine-tune handling for varying trail conditions and individual riding style.
29er confidence and control
Larger 29-inch diameter wheels optimised to roll over rough terrain with balance and stability, giving you the momentum to tackle technical climbs and the confidence to fly on fast, rugged singletrack descents.
Progressive trail design
Lightweight composite frameset features a longer reach and steeper seat tube angle for aggressive trail riding and improved climbing capabilities. Maestro rear suspension features 120mm of rear wheel travel paired with a 130mm fork up front. The frame also includes a cleanly integrated storage space in the down tube for tools, snacks or other essentials.
ADVANCED COMPOSITE TECHNOLOGY
Giant's High Performance Grade raw carbon material is used to produce this custom frame material in our own composite factory with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle of these framesets is assembled and moulded as one continuous piece in a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
ADVANCED FORGED COMPOSITE TECHNOLOGY
A state-of-the-art high-pressure moulding process is used to produce complex-shaped carbon fibre components that are lighter, stiffer and stronger than similar components made from aluminium. This technology is used in critical performance parts such as Maestro Suspension rocker links.
MAESTRO SUSPENSION TECHNOLOGY
Four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages all work together to create a single floating pivot for the most active, efficient and independent suspension system on the trail.
OVERDRIVE
Giant's original oversized fork steerer tube technology. Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system's oversized headset bearings (1 1/4" lower and 1 1/8" upper for road, 1 1/2" lower and 1 1/8" upper for mountain) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.
TUBELESS SYSTEM
Fewer flat tyres. Greater traction. Less rolling resistance and a smoother, faster ride. Giant's Tubeless System makes it easier than ever to experience all these benefits.
FLIP CHIP - MAESTRO
The flip chip allows riders to quickly adjust the geometry of their Maestro-equipped mountain bike to better suit how and where they ride. It lets riders change the headtube/seattube angles and bottom bracket height via eccentric (offset, two-position) hardware located on the upper rocker arm.

I've been looking for this handlebar for a while, so was glad to see it in stock. I previously had the wider bar, and kept hitting my arms on it when I was exercising. This narrow one is perfect as it does not encroach on the jumping area and doesn't get in my way, but gives me peace of mind that I will not fall.
I would Highly Recomend De Grandi. I live in Perth WA and None of the Giant Dealers here seemed to have any Giant Chill gloves in stock and the Giant Website did not instll any confidence.
