About This Product...
From its sleek, aero-inspired alloy frame and composite fork to its road-smoothing components and ergonomically designed cockpit, the new Contend SL makes performance road riding accessible to all. Speed through the city or join the group ride with more confidence, control and speed.
Key Performance Factors
AERO INSPIRED
An aero-shaped down tube and composite fork form a sleek profile that cuts through the wind. The Giant ALP WheelSystem has an all-rounder rim depth of 30mm and robust aluminium construction that’s lightweight and strong enough to handle everyday use on variable road surfaces. The cockpit setup features internally routed cables to further reduce wind drag and create a clean, modern look.
COMMAND CONTROL
An ergonomically designed handlebar optimizes hand comfort in every position, from the tops to the hoods to the drops. The drops have 7.2-degree flare for greater confidence and control descending and cornering. Hydraulic disc brakes deliver consistent, predictable braking power and help minimise hand fatigue on long descents. A proven Shimano drivetrain with a 50/34 chainring combination offers a wide range of gears for optimal pedalling cadence on variable terrain.
SMOOTH COMFORT
An Advanced-grade composite fork soaks up the bumps and contours of the road, minimising hand and arm fatigue, while an ergo-shaped handlebar with an expanded surface area helps distributes pressure across the palm and thumb web. A D-Fuse seatpost absorbs shocks and vibrations, and a Giant Grit Core saddle uses Particle Flow Technology to conform to your body. Higher volume 28mm tyres allow you to run lower tyre pressure for better grip and a smoother ride quality.

WeightThe most accurate way to determine any bike’s weight is to have your local dealer weigh it for you. Many brands strive to list the lowest possible weight, but in reality weight can vary based on size, finish, hardware and accessories. All our bikes are designed for best-in-class weight and ride quality.

Exactly what I was looking for
I’ve been using Zwift with the Wahoo Kickr Core and it has completely transformed my indoor cycling experience. The trainer pairs seamlessly with Zwift, and the ride feels incredibly smooth and realistic, with responsive resistance changes that mimic climbs and sprints perfectly.
Setup was straightforward, and the Kickr Core runs quietly, which makes it ideal for home use. I especially like how immersive the Zwift routes feel – the combination of the platform’s visuals and the trainer’s accurate power readings really motivates me to push harder.
Overall, the Wahoo Kickr Core and Zwift are a fantastic combo for structured training, group rides, or just exploring virtual routes when outdoor riding isn’t an option. Highly recommend for anyone serious about improving their cycling fitness.
Great quality from a reputable company. I also have their knee sleeves.

I'm very happy with my Campagnolo Centaur 10 speed Powertorque Alloy Crankset. It was delivered very quickly in a sturdy box. It looks brand new ( it was manufactured in Italy in 2012 ). The crankset looks fantastic. All I need now is a bike to put it on. Thank you.
